Reviews on Your Website
Paste the address of your public Capterra product page into JustReview, pick one of six layouts, then copy the snippet it generates. The snippet has three parts: the library, the configuration for that one widget, and the container that decides where the reviews appear. Where each part goes depends on the platform you built the site with, and the table below gives the exact place for the ones asked about most often.
The library and the configuration go into your theme, in Appearance then Theme File Editor, pasted into footer.php before the closing body tag. A theme update can overwrite that file, so a child theme or a snippet plugin that injects code before the closing body tag is the safer route. The container then goes on the page itself: a Custom HTML block in the block editor, or the Text tab in the classic editor.
Only where the container goes. In Elementor you add an HTML widget to the layout and paste the container into it. Divi Builder splits the three parts across different places: the container sits in a Code module inside a new section, while the library and the configuration are added to the theme as above.
On Squarespace the library and the configuration go into Settings, Advanced, Code Injection, in the Footer field, and the container into a Code block on the page - Code Injection is a paid Squarespace feature. On GoDaddy Website Builder the first two parts go into Site Settings, Site-wide Code, and the container into an HTML element where the widget should appear. Wix is different: all three parts go into one HTML Box, and because Wix gives that box a fixed height, set it tall enough for the layout you picked. On both Squarespace and GoDaddy the site has to be published, because an editor preview does not render the widget.
